The pretreatment in edible oil refining equipment includes the processes of cleaning, develveting, shelling, drying, crushing, softening, rolling and steaming of oil.
1> Oil seeds cleaning: the general term for the process of removing impurities contained in oil. The cleaning process requirements not only limit the impurity content in the oil, but also specify the content of the oil in the scrap after cleaning.
2> Oil Shelling and Kernel Shell Separation: Shelling equipment sunflower seed shelling machine, disc shelling machine, knife plate shelling machine, tooth roller shelling machine, shell separation combined machine, cypress seed shell separation machine, knife cage Shelling machine, centrifugal shelling machine, roller shelling machine, shell separation screen.
3> Oil drying: Oil drying refers to the process of dehydrating high moisture oil to suitable moisture. Oil is sometimes harvested during the rainy season, so the moisture content is high. For reliable storage and proper moisture, drying is very important.
Oil extraction machine process
The extracting device adopts stainless steel fixed grid board, frequency conversion speed regulation, extracting machine storage tank self- automatic control, high extracting efficiency, low energy consumption, extracting condenser, steam degassing condenser, stripping condenser, evaporative condenser, the final condenser are aluminum alloy tube-type condenser, the condensation effect is fast.
Oil refining process:
- Crude cooking oil degumming: In this step gums in crude corn germ oil are removed by hydration with the help of phosphoric acid.
- Deacidification ( neutralization): In this step free fatty acids are neutralized by using sodium hydroxide and convert them into soap. Additional impurities are also removed by adsorption on soap.
- Decolorization : During decolorization, unwanted pigments are adsorbed physically and oil will become much clearer.
- Deodorization: Deodorization is used to remove unacceptable odors by steam distillation, the odoriferous compound are stripped off with the help of live injected steam into heated oil under high vacuum pressure.
